9-Min Killer Abs Workout with Weights and Calisthenics Moves

How to get abs if you don’t have much time to spare? This routine only requires a few minutes of your time per day. The combination of weights and calisthenic movements speeds up the metabolism and increases the body’s capacity to develop lean mass. The first set consists of calisthenic moves, they are highly aerobic and can help you reach your max heart rate for max fat burn. Then we will be doing dumbbell training for the second phase. This helps you gain lean mass as you challenge your muscles to work with heavier weights, the more muscles you gain, the faster you can burn overall fat. Then the last phase consists of dynamic mat exercises that engage the core a lot.

Start off with a pair of medium-weight dumbbells that you find comfortable to handle. At the beginning, choose lighter weights and exercises that match your current fitness level. As you make progress and get stronger, slowly increase the intensity and the weight you use.
